These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to every purchase from chaincompounds.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping and Returns Policy, Refund Policy, Research Use Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

chaincompounds.com is operated by Chain Compounds LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@chaincompounds.com, [MAILING ADDRESS].

2. Who can buy

  • You must be 21 or older.
  • You must have a shipping address in the United States.
  • You must be buying for lawful laboratory research, as described in section 3.

We may refuse or cancel any order, and close any account, if we believe these conditions aren’t met. If we cancel a paid order, we refund it under our Refund Policy.

3. Research use only

Every product we sell is for research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. By ordering, you confirm that:

  • you are buying the products for lawful in-vitro laboratory research or other lawful research purposes, carried out by people qualified to handle research chemicals;
  • you will not use the products, or allow them to be used, in or on humans or animals, and you will not use them as a food, drug, cosmetic, dietary supplement or medical device;
  • you will not resell or give the products to anyone for any of those uses;
  • you will store, handle and dispose of the products safely and in line with all laws that apply to you.

We don’t provide advice on using our products, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If we have reason to believe a product will be used outside these terms, we may cancel the order and refuse future orders.

4. Products and descriptions

Product pages describe each product’s identity only: name, amount per vial, form and storage conditions. Product photos may be placeholders or examples. Where a certificate of analysis (COA) is posted, it relates to the lot named on it. We make no other claims about our products.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars.
  • We accept cryptocurrency only, in the coins shown at checkout. The amount of crypto you pay is worked out from the USD total when your payment invoice is created.
  • Each payment invoice is valid for a limited time, shown on the invoice. [CONFIRM IN STEP 8: invoice time limit.]
  • Your order stays “Pending payment” until your payment is confirmed on the blockchain. We don’t ship unpaid orders.
  • Blockchain network fees for sending your payment are your responsibility.
  • If you send too little, too much, or pay after an invoice has expired, our Refund Policy explains what happens.
  • If a product is listed at the wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you, even after you receive an order confirmation.

6. Discounts

  • Bulk pricing applies automatically per product when you buy several vials of it. The tiers are shown on each product page.
  • Coupon codes are subject to the conditions stated with them. LAUNCH15 is valid on a customer’s first order only, once per customer.
  • Discounts don’t combine. When more than one could apply, the cart applies the one that saves you the most.
  • We may change or end any promotion at any time. Changes don’t affect orders already placed.

7. Orders and cancellation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when your payment is confirmed. You can cancel an order at any time before it ships by emailing support@chaincompounds.com with your order number. Once an order has shipped it can’t be cancelled.

8. Shipping and risk of loss

We ship to US addresses only, as described in our Shipping and Returns Policy. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package to the shipping address you gave us. [LAWYER: confirm risk-of-loss point.]

10. Accounts

If you create an account, keep your login details private. You’re responsible for orders placed with your account.

11. Warranty disclaimer

We will ship the products described in your order. EXCEPT AS STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE PRODUCTS AND THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
